Dr Fay Callaghan graduated from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne in England in 2005 and spent the following decade building her clinical experience across a variety of practices in the United Kingdom. In 2015, she moved to Australia with her husband, spending several years in Sydney before relocating to Queensland in 2019. She now calls Brisbane home, together with her husband and son.
Dr Callaghan has a particular interest in cosmetic and restorative dentistry, working across composite and ceramic veneers, crowns, and clear aligner treatment. She takes particular satisfaction in restoring worn or damaged teeth, helping patients regain function alongside improved aesthetics. Patients often note how much more comfortable modern dentistry has become, something Dr Callaghan attributes to advances in both technique and materials.

Alana Pun Soon Gacayan grew up in Brisbane and completed her Bachelor of Applied Health Science in Oral Health at the University of Queensland before joining the Divine Smiles team in 2007. She has been a central part of the practice for nearly two decades, and many patients plan their hygiene appointments specifically around their time with her.
Alana treats both adults and children and has a particular interest in growth and development in younger patients, using her knowledge to support healthy jaw and dental development from an early age. Her approach to preventive care is thorough and patient-centred, and she takes time to help each person understand the connection between oral health and overall wellbeing.
Her long tenure at Divine Smiles reflects a genuine commitment to the patients she sees year after year. That continuity and consistency are something patients value deeply, and it underpins the standard of preventive care the whole practice is built around.
